My first thought (as well as many FReepers) was that this indeed is a trial run for an attack in America. Bingo. But the NSA will let it happen so they can grow the DHS and forward gun confiscation.
I think it doesn’t need to be a trial run for anything. Terrorists chose their target and if they had chosen a target here, it would have happened here.
