When I was an Army grunt over 20 years ago, every time we walked by the support company's formation, I'd say a good third of the women in formation were noticeably pregnant (and undoubtedly unmarried). When I was in the Middle East for good ol' Desert Storm (and back at the rear for the first month or tow), women were getting shipped out weekly for being (newly) pregnant.
