Mark Levin: "Tom Pauken would make an OUTSTANDING Governor of Texas"

"Now in Texas you have Republican Primary for Governor. And there's a fellow running in the Republican Primary that I've known since I was - how old? - 22 years old. His name is Tom Pauken. He's a Reaganite. He was a long-time Reaganite. Before Reagan he was a Goldwater guy. As solid as they come. A good friend of mine. And Tom Pauken would make an OUTSTANDING Governor of Texas. So I want to wholeheartedly tell my friends all over the state of Texas if you get a chance give Tom a very careful look. You won't be disappointed."

I have advised him over and over to post pro-Pauken stuff instead of anti-Abbott stuff. Catch more flies with honey and all that

I certainly went from not caring about Pauken to actively campaigning AGAINST him.

Junior owns that single-handedly.

I did try to explain to him that he would be turning off a lot of potential voters. You at least need to post pro-Pauken things in addition to the mudslinging or it just comes off as a loser.

I don’t think Levin has done his homework on Pauken. If he had, he would not be saying what a great governor Pauken would be.

I don’t know the answer to that.

Thanks for your Freeper post. Don’t worry too much about the Shrieking Abbotteers. Abbott is out fundraising Pauken 100 to 1, yet their attacks on Pauken show they fear him. Keep up the good work. We need to get the word out that Pauken is the only true conservative running for governor in Texas, and Abbott is just a Chris Christie-loving Rino. Abbott won’t even debate Pauken either.

I am not the one who posted it, but this is probably the best new the Pauken campaign has had so far.

Thanks anyway. I was unaware of this thread until you brought it to my attention. I turn on the computer this morning and see this wonderful news. Mark Levin is one of my favorite radio talk show hosts. I’m glad to hear that he wants more Texans to know the “outstanding” qualities if Tom Pauken is elected governor of Texas.

Just curious, is it still hot in Texas right now? Summer time heat in Beijing has just faded away and now temperatures are in the 60s in the daytime. I’m not a hot weather person, so I appreciate the cooler weather here.

It can be a bit hot but it can also be relatively cold at night, especially if there is/has been rain. It is only 78 (f) right now here in New Braunfels, TX but the high tomorrow is supposed to be 95

I fully expect that more people will at least consider Tom Pauken now.

I think so too. During my Dallas Blog days, my job was too find negative news about Democrats and Rinos and post stories about that. Then when I became a copy-editor in China, my bosses always complained about my headlines. I told them I only know how to write scandal-grabbing headlines, it’s hard for me to write an intruiging headline for positive propaganda stories about China. Tom Pauken does have good ideas on education, job skills training and fighting against cronyism. I will try to post more of the positive message about Pauken in the future. This could be a crucial turning point for his campaign.

I think there are some that are hoping to see Abbott drop out and run for Senate. They suppose that Pauken could win the governorship and Abbott could win the senate race.

Yes it could, more people will actually heat that there really is going to be a primary.

Hopefully the Levin endorsement will boost Pauken’s fundraising figures too. I was beginning to think that only a few Freepers were aware of his existance. I live in the land of ghost cities and ghost malls, so it was a bit of a challenge to explain that Pauken is not a ghost candidate.

Those do exist of course, people sin up and get their names on the ballot with no interest in winning or campaigning seriously.

Funny, you should mention ghost candidates do exist. One time in Dallas, I worked in an office right next door to a ghost chandidate who ran for State Rep. as a Republican. She rarely left her office and still won the race. She was Chinese too. Even on Election night, she was still quietly working at her office as if nothing special happened. I forgot her name though.
