So the indictment is punishment for the leak?

Sounds like a new rationale for hiring 100% perverts as federal employees, so that appointee-level bonzes can better control their underlings.

He had retired from the FBI in 2008 and was working as a contractor with them.

Shortly before the leak on May 2, 2012, to the Associated Press, Sachtleben became the focus of a child pornography investigation. On May 11, 2012, as part of that investigation, the FBI executed a search warrant and seized his laptop computer. It held about 30 images and video files containing child pornography, according to court documents.

Just a coincidence? Something smells here.

Have you seen the stats for child porn at the Pentagon? They’re so ridiculously high you have to wonder if your suspicion is correct, and that they will only hire people that can be kept in line through those tactics. And that’s been like that for well over a decade now.

That’s what they do in the Palestinian Authority. Crooks get promoted, because they can be blackmailed into submission.

INDIANAPOLIS — A former FBI agent who was involved in the investigations of the Oklahoma City bombing and “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski has been arrested on child pornography charges, according to a criminal complaint unsealed Monday.

The U.S. attorney’s office said Donald Sachtleben, 54, of Carmel, was being held pending a court hearing Thursday. He is charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, according to the complaint.

Sachtleben, who was an FBI explosives expert, also has been a visiting professor at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Health Sciences since October, university spokeswoman Mary Bea Drummond said.

U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett said the arrest of Sachtleben was part of a federal initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Investigators say they were led to Sachtleben by data found on a computer belonging to a man named Jason Nicoson of Roscoe, Ill., who was arrested in January for allegedly trading child pornography online.

Investigators say they found about 30 images and video files on Sachtleben’s computer in the backseat of his car that he had driven home from Indianapolis shortly before agents searched his house Friday. The criminal complaint filed by FBI agent Kerri Reifel says the sexually explicit images were of girls generally younger than 12 years old.

I am convinced that if any federal agency grabs anyone's 'puter, they will ALWAYS find child porn on said machine. Count on it... What better way to demonize and leave the victim helpless?
