Are you referring to this bill? the Fairness for American Families Act (H.R. 2668) It merely delays the individual mandate for a year. Cruz is fighting for the whole enchilada.

There is a reason there are multiple plans. If one fails the back up(s) are already in place. Remember Reagan’s eleventh commandment of not bad mouthing fellow republicans. There was a reason he said what he said when he said it
The ideal solution would be a crossover vote by D to repeal the bill
Or
The SCOTUS would find it unconstitutional
Neither of those happened so the plan now is not to put all the eggs in one basket. Many eggs— many baskets of every size and shape
Don’t break your neighbors eggs cause you like your basket better

Think of Young and Coats as the bench waiting on the sideline with a different play just in case IMT don’t tell them not to dress for the game.
They may get the ball over the line with seconds to spare

Always trying to cover their tracks one way or another. The fact it was basically a no show of Republicans in support of Cruz ....says all I need to know about Republicans. Those who supported him I will not forget.

If they could not stand with Cruz, who obviously was giving voice to the people...then why should we expect them to stand for anything else with any degree of concern for the people?

They all need to be booted out of office...or no doubt a third party will come together with a grand exodus from the republican party, which is already underway IMO.
