Does anyone else detect some narcissist thought here? This girl is noticing that many of her female friends are going to be mothers. She is unprepared for this change in her life. The change is not that she herself is becoming a mother, but that her friends being mothers will put an end to carefree single young adult late night time together with her friends.
And she wants to take photos to document this, and to make sense out of all of it.
A process which has been going on from the beginning of time, namely marriage and starting families, has thrown this girl off balance. She really has no understanding of any of this??? I am really confused at her reaction to the disruption in her life caused by her friends becoming mothers.

I’m with you. What is there to make sense of, and how do pictures of sleeping people help her make sense of the fact that her friends are going to be parents?
