Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, rose to speak on the Senate floor at 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday. He stood up in opposition to Obamacare, he said. And he said he would continue to speak until he could no longer stand. By Wednesday morning, Cruz and some of his colleagues were still standing.

Just heard Rush say that Ted Cruz will be on Rush’s show coming up at 1000hrs PDT.
May God bless this man and keep him standing for what is right!
He was cut off at noon, at the start of a new legislative day. He asked for permission to continue, but was denied by Reid. Reid also tried to interrupt Cruz in his last 20 minutes by constantly asking questions, until Cruz demanded the floor back.
Cruz made me proud!!
So why wasn’t it a true filibuster, and Cruz and company tell Harry to go pound sand?

“I don’t think we learned anything new,” Harry Reid said after. “But it has been a big waste of time.”
Well, Harry Reid is a big waste of skin and oxygen.

I applaud his zeal, but it was/is a total waste of time AND our money. And it will accomplish ZERO in the end. Except polarize more people against conservatives for perpetrating it.
Obamacare is law. It’s going to be law. And it will remain law until we control both House and Senate AND the Presidency and then maybe we can repeal it. Business (all my clients) are ALL moving forward with it. They know this is just more bull$hit blustering and frankly, it’s very disappointing.
Finally, Obama will veto any budget that defunds Obamacare anyway. Waste. Of. Time.
Let’s defund congressional salaries and go from there.

Government money runs out on Monday. Still no debt limit raised. Still no budget.
Clock’s ticking and they don’t have a lot of time when measured in Senate votes.
