Adolescence no longer ends when people hit 18, according to updated guidelines being given to child psychologists.
The new directive is designed to extend the age range that child psychologists can work with from 18 years old up to 25.
It is hoped the initiative will stop children being 'rushed' through their childhood and feeling pressured to achieve key milestones quickly, reports the BBC.

Let’s raise the voting age to 25 as well. That will solve a lot of problems.
Then we shouldn’t let them vote or serve.
GOOD...then maybe they shouldn’t vote until they are 25!
Over 70% of divorces are brought on by the wife. And the lions share of those are basically “I just don’t want to be married to this guy any more”. And a lot of them have kids.
This means women will be even more incentivized to dump their husband in favor of his maintenance and child support into the kids mid-20’s. Or am I missing something?
There are lots of 30 year old “kids” in our neighborhood still living at home. They drive nice cars, spend weekends at the beach, and otherwise have plenty of fun with no responsibilities. Its going to catch up to them someday.
voting should be contingent on one thing: emancipation. the age at which you function as an independent adult. no parental support, no public support, no transfer payments, no unpaid tax debts to the government. voting is an adult act in that it gives you an element of influence and control over the quality of your fellow citizens lives. you can’t run around handing that out to psychologically underdeveloped persons with no capacity for independence.
The aspect of this I find comical..., well more like tragic really, is this.
Little boys are considered so cute. Aren’t they just the sweetest things.
Then they turn 18, 25, or whatever, and suddenly those cute little boys are men and the most vile things on the planet. And God forbid they are White. Now there’s something needing to be extinct ASAP.

Men - bad, very bad!
So you can join the army, fight in Afghanistan or some other third world hellholes for four years, get out, return to your parents' basement for three more years and play with your G.I. Joe dolls action figures?
Maybe the child psychologist can give his 25 year old patient the anatomically correct doll to see where hid did a "bad touch" on a Taliban insurgent with his k-bar knife.

I don’t think most of the failure to launch crowd votes. Registering to vote puts you in the jury duty system so then they might actually have to do something, not to mention distracting from quality X-Box time.

Worse than that....Obamacare requires coverage up till age 26. But a business owner I know was told by his insurance carrier that he has the OPTION of adding dependent coverage up till age 30.
And what is a voluntary OPTION today becomes MANDATORY tomorrow.
