But there have been people who’ve tried to fight the income tax in court and failed. So it’s not a matter of what the people want. It’s a matter of being realistic as to whether or not the system will be receptive to your argument. We’ve proven they haven’t before. Someone may once again try to reclaim that freedom under the law but we have every reason to expect they’ll be slapped down by the courts again.
That is called control by today’s dictator - not necessarily tomorrow’s. Of course the problem with that is that today stupid folks vote and tomorrow, the enlightened folks vote it is simply a matter of history conforming to the world...so to speak, eventually, facts catch up with the promises... Not so sure that things can actually change via folks that vote and care...
Damn, I really hate waiting for them to wake up though - can’t we just start a revolution? Way too many are just ignorant and have no care about government. Hell, they do not even know that they have a Government! Think you government schools! Until things change, folks that care are at a loss...
