A Glastonbury man who became a reluctant focus of the fierce gun control debate deserved to be arrested for raising undue alarm at a bank, town police said Wednesday.
But the state decided against prosecuting a breach of peace charge against Robert Gursky, 50, who had attempted to pass a note to a bank teller saying that a man with a gun was inside the bank.

Good Morning MT....did you see this one below the fold in this morning’s HC?
LOL....at least we can be assured that the HC continues it’s relentless anti-gun agenda.
<8^)
Man causes bank panic after saying "gun" to teller (Arrested)
"You fool! Did you think we meant that??"
LOL...I’m sorry. I stand corrected. :)
The Glastonbury police are still smarting from the Goldberg case. LOL
I LOVE it! You can be sure, a sign like that, will *never* appear in a bank in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Makes me want to bank there!!! Big time!!!
Thanks for posting it.
Thank you for posting the story.
The more I think about it, the more I believe municipalities need “dumbass” laws. That is, if someone “behaves like a dumbass” in public, in the *opinion* of the arresting officer, a judge, if he concurs, may sentence the dumbass to up to 30 days in jail, with a concomitant fine only if their being a dumbass resulted in damage to, or loss of someone else’s, or public, property; or the diversion or waste of public safety resources.
More and more, every day, I feel like I'm, living in a Monty Python/Pink Panther/Buster Keaton movie set.
I’m willing to bet that bank has never been robbed. AKA a gun control sign that is effective.
