A Glastonbury man who became a reluctant focus of the fierce gun control debate deserved to be arrested for raising undue alarm at a bank, town police said Wednesday.

But the state decided against prosecuting a breach of peace charge against Robert Gursky, 50, who had attempted to pass a note to a bank teller saying that a man with a gun was inside the bank.

"I was really surprised that they arrested me," Gursky said later.

Good Morning MT....did you see this one below the fold in this morning’s HC?

LOL....at least we can be assured that the HC continues it’s relentless anti-gun agenda.

I LOVE it! You can be sure, a sign like that, will *never* appear in a bank in Glastonbury, Connecticut.

The more I think about it, the more I believe municipalities need “dumbass” laws. That is, if someone “behaves like a dumbass” in public, in the *opinion* of the arresting officer, a judge, if he concurs, may sentence the dumbass to up to 30 days in jail, with a concomitant fine only if their being a dumbass resulted in damage to, or loss of someone else’s, or public, property; or the diversion or waste of public safety resources.

I like your thinking....only problem is......who is going to monitor the *dumb@ss* who watches the *dumb@ss* being arrested for *dumb@ss* laws, passed by *dumb@ss* politicians for *dumb@ss* reasons, enforced by *dumb@ss* janitors and *dumb@ss* lifer LIEberal judges[janitors: my term for police]?

More and more, every day, I feel like I'm, living in a Monty Python/Pink Panther/Buster Keaton movie set.

I’m willing to bet that bank has never been robbed. AKA a gun control sign that is effective.
