Oh, it’s worse than that. What they’re saying is that traditional values families can’t adopt AT ALL, because there’s a chance the child might identify as gay.
Then look at the supporting numbers (if I have them right). 20% of the kids in the system are gay? And 40% of the placements are with gay families?
I have a question that perhaps an adoptive family can answer.
Say I’m an unwed 15-year-old who is pregnant. Say I want to put my baby up for adoption but I flatly refuse to allow homosexuals to adopt my child.
What rights, if any, do I have in that case? I know that many birth parents actually CHOOSE the couple they want to adopt their child. Do these birth parents no longer have that choice?

Sometimes these are very "subtle" but "a case has to be built." Further, "now that the climate is changing," DCF wants the youth to understand that the DCF will not accept this kind of behavior from a provider or caretaker.

Are they consistent? Do they insist on racist matching of skin color to parents? Or do they expect acceptance of all for everyone?
Also, in a foster program, i do believe that if a child has something that the family can’t handle, they can return the child.
Tell me again how we know a child is queer? Just how does a , oh, say, six year old “self-identify”? Playing with Peewee Herman dolls? Somebody needs a reality checking head jerk in that operation.
“-—accept whatever may come” ! these people are crazy. Wouldn’t the basic idea of parenting, queer or otherwise, foster or otherwise, be to teach basic life skills, manners, courtesy, civilization in general, to the growing crumb cruncher. Accepting what comes sounds like the kiddie version of hippy free love. Kids need guidance, steerage, and pointing in the right direction-—not free range running loose. Can we take some money away from these loons?
