Murdoch ran 10 points behind ROMNEY.
That was a PROBLEM.
He was shredded by the MSM, but he gave them the ammo to shoot him with.

“I think it’s a silly effort, and what people are really saying who are behind that effort is, ‘We don’t have the courage to roll up our sleeves and deal with real deficit reduction and spending decisions.

We want to take ourselves out of the debate and act like we are being principled to the American people by saying if there is one dime of funding for Obamacare we are not going to vote for the (continuing resolution),’ ” Corker said Tuesday morning on MSNBC. “I don’t look at that as very courageous.”

Cruz/Lee? I was actually up watching during Lee’s questions to Cruz. He is extremely intelligent and a constitutional scholar.

The only problem with Cruz/anyone and Cruz/Lee is we lose a good man or two in the Senate.

(so nice to see you :-) )

“I actually thought about calling an audible this morning and run over the the White House lawn to jump on Marine One to accompany the president when he came on down,” Corker said today in a telephone interview from his Washington D.C. office. “But we just decided in terms of advancing policy it would be best for me to stay here.”

Corker, a former Chattanooga mayor, said he talked with White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough several times today, but decided in the end to stay in Washington.

Corker and other senators working on a budget agreement will meet with McDonough on Wednesday to continue their talks about ways to cut the deficit and spending, while still making smart investments to help boost the economy.

“Who’s running against corker? I want to contribute.”

Unfortunately this dwarf ( both in stature and morals) was re-elected last year. But his butt buddy, Lamar Alexander is up next year so you might want to support his Republican opponent. Alexander and Corker remind me of Big Enos and Little Enos from Smokey and the Bandit, and the are about as smart. Stick them both in power blue leisure suits, boots and cowboy hats and you’ve got cast members for the remake.

Corker’s going down next election cycle (that is if he is up for re-election in 2014).

************

Lamar Alexander holds the TN slot that is up for election in 2014.

You’ve got to be kidding. Parents should be going to the schools and school board meetings armed with pitch forks and buckets of tar.

Good stuff at this person’s blog. Stuff I didn’t know.

Senator Menendez, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Panel and serial abuser of underage hookers, is pushing to bring this amendment up again this year. From The Hill…

Treaty supporters say those worries were unfounded, and Sen. Robert Menendez (D-N.J.), the new chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations panel hopes to win approval of the treaty, a Senate Democratic aide said.

Menendez hopes to strike a deal on a way forward with the panel’s top Republican, Sen. Bob Corker of Tennessee,

Has Corker EVER attacked a democrat the way he is attacking Cruz?

Of course not.

He's a wussy.

Yet Corker understands that climate change is a problem and has called for legislation to address it. In 2007, he traveled to Greenland with a bipartisan group of senators to observe the impacts of climate change, noting upon his return that the U.S. has “a unique opportunity to marry concerns … like carbon dioxide emissions and energy security.” He said he was “leaning in the direction” of supporting a carbon-trading program.

Lately Corker has been insisting that he won’t accept anything short of a climate plan that auctions 100 percent of pollution permits and returns the money directly to Americans, and his preferred approach would be a carbon tax.

“Cruz shot back. “Why is Majority Leader Harry Reid going to vote the same way you’re proposing to vote? Why is every Democrat in this chamber going to vote the way you’re proposing to vote,” said Cruz. “When we told our constituents we oppose Obamacare, we meant it. So we are not going to be complicit in giving Harry Reid the ability to fund Obamacare.”

Excellent. That little sawed-off Corker just got b!tch slapped.
