$5.25m For Senate Hair Care & 21 Other Ways Politicians Are Living The High Life At Your Expense

If you want to live the high life, you don't have to become a rap star, a professional athlete or a Wall Street banker. All it really takes is winning an election. Right now, more than half of all the members of Congress are millionaires, and most of them leave "public service" far wealthier than when they entered it. Since most of them have so much money, you would think that they would be willing to do a little "belt-tightening" for the sake of the American people. After all, things are supposedly "extremely tight" in Washington D.C. right now. In fact, just the other day Nancy Pelosi insisted that there were "no more cuts to make" to the federal budget. But even as they claim that things are so tough right now, our politicians continue to live the high life at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. The statistics that I am about to share with you are very disturbing. Please share them with everyone that you know. The American people deserve the truth.

According to the Weekly Standard, an absolutely insane amount of money is being spent on the "hair care needs" of U.S. Senators...

Remember a while back when Li’l Debbi Mayohead was complaining that because of the sequester her aides couldn’t afford decent restaurants?
And they think we’re “anarchists.” Someone get a rope ..... I’m sick of these egg-sucking, fur-bearin’ varmints.

Oh dear. $5.25 million for Carl Levin's comb-over, which is a comb-over for the ages, the absolutely most hideous I have ever seen.

Insider trading, which they made legal for themselves, but not for thee. Not sure if they’ve changed the law recently or not - I do know they’ve talked about changing it after word about what they’ve been doing for ages has gotten out.

Congressional staffers make way more than the average citizen yet 75% of their healthcare premiums will be paid by the taxpayers.

When you look at how much these people are paid, you can understand why they are so out of touch with the people. I hope I live long enough to see them “re-touched”.

They changed the insider trading rule. But less than a year later they changed it back.

Even CNBC ran a study showing that legislators make “market crushing” returns on investments via inside knowledge.

If they’re tarred and feathered, they won’t need hair care anymore.

Obama bought them off with a subsidy for their health care that they don’t qualify for under obozocare. They make too darn much.

But less than a year later they changed it back.

That doesn't surprise me. IMO, the largest majority of these 500 or so in DC, ruining our country and our future, are lower than whale dung.

Eliminate all the perks. But the governing elites granted themselves these privileges in the first place, and would have to remove them. How likely is that?

At the risk of getting flamed, I don’t completely trust any of them. With tinfoil wrapped tightly around my head, Cruz is being slandered by McCain because we expect it of McCain. But is it all just a game? It seems every time we get our hopes up, we’re betrayed. Rubio comes to mind on immigration. I hope I’m wrong.
