Just got the open enrollment letter from work yesterday. At first it looked like they were dumping us on the exchanges. But my company is still offering health plans EXCEPT for the one I was on.

It was the most innovative and effective health ins. I've ever had, and it worked perfectly for our family. It was called an HRA, which is a high deductible plan with an HSA. The cool thing, though was you got an up front stipend that covers the first half of the deductible, and I funded my HSA to account for the rest of the deductible. Any of the stipend that is left over at the end of the year is supposed to roll forward to the next year. I still have over $800 of my stipend left, but the plan is now "illegal" under Ohorrorcare.

It might be a moot point anyway, because my job's on the line and will likely end in December anyway.

Where I work we were notified they would no longer offer Health Insurance to part-time workers and directed to sign onto Obamas Government plan.

Full-timers had their coverage lowered with higher co-pays and less coverage.

Further.... full-time ‘salaried workers’ were recently changed to ‘hourly’.
