I received the following email from John Cornyn early in the week. What a load of crap from a traitor RINO:

Our best chance to Defund ObamaCare is THIS WEEK.

In the next few days, the Senate will vote on a Continuing Resolution that will prevent a government shutdown and Defund ObamaCare.

But to win, we must convince FIVE Democrats from Red States like Arkansas and Louisiana to vote WITH their constituents by voting AGAINST funding for ObamaCare.

Republicans are united against ObamaCare. All we need now is FIVE Democrat votes.

This is the best chance we've had to Defund ObamaCare since it was forced down the throats of the American people in 2010.

Please help us spread the word and demand that vulnerable Democrats save their constituents - and the rest of America - from this incredibly destructive and unpopular law.

Share the graphic above with all of your friends on Facebook and please ask them to do the same.

America must know the truth. Democrats caused this problem, now they have a chance to fix their mistake.

Let them know we’re watching.

For Texas,

Senator John Cornyn

P.S. Help us pressure Red State Democrats to vote with their constituents - and the rest of America - by voting against funding for ObamaCare.

You mean Graham lied when he triumphantly announced how he had voted against Zero-Care??? Here’s hoping the House is better at listening to the People than the cesspool Senate - but with Boehner and company we’re probably screwed.

Syrin • a day ago

I’m a physician, and what is not being reported are the number of physicians fleeing medicine all together. Our most experienced oncologist at this hospital just announced his retirement as of January 1st. He’s 52. The cardiology group will stop seeing hospital patients, general surgeons not taking ER call, neurologists are longer performing EMGs, and I could go on for pages. My group is the third biggest group in the country in my specialty. We experienced 26% GROWTH this past year and our revenue was DOWN 17% from the previous year. There are even more draconian cuts coming in January. MOST of my specialty will be forced to close their practice permanently as they will lose money with every patient they see. You cannot make that up on volume. This means there will be hospitals that will literally have to stop all patient care activities as no department in the hospital can function, by law, without my specialty.

As bad as anyone THOUGHT Obamacare MIGHT be, it will be FAR, FAR WORSE. I stated years ago that this might be the single most destructive piece of legislation in the history of the world as it will simultaneously with a single pen stroke destroy the economy, destroy the best health care system ever seen, and put more people into the unemployment line than we’ve ever seen before.

All 25 of these turncoat bastards should be voted OUT OF OFFICE!

http://www.conservativeactionalerts.com/2013/09/dont-fund-it-stop-cloture-today/

Today, seventy-five Senators voted in favor of “closing the debate” on the Budget Resolution, surpassing the sixty-vote threshold needed to move the bill forward. This said, due to Republican support, the Senate has included funding for Obamacare in their Continuing Resolution, undoing what the House accomplished one week ago today.

Folks, we MUST get super control of both the House and Senate

The R's always say that however, I remember a time when we DID give them House, Senate and Presidency. THEY WASTED IT!!!!!!

The R's increased Government spending like crazy, did they cut NGO's that spend taxpayer money on bringing down the USA? NO

Did the R's cut government departments? NO

Did they balance the spending, yes for that time but not pass a balanced budget amendment which we really could use now.

And after seeing 25 R's betray us this way when if they will stand TOGETHER like the D's do all the time, we could have pushed this fight a lot further down the road

and Sola, for you to keep saying that it would shut the Government down after funding all of it, is just a Dem talking point. You are verbose but a name caller please stop with the name calling.

*You own it, traitors, cowards and sellouts!*

“Here are the 25 Senate Republicans who voted to allow Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Democrats to fund Obamacare today:

Alexander, Lamar (R-TN) Ayotte, Kelly (R-NH) Barrasso, John (R-WY) Blunt, Roy (R-MO) Boozman, John (R-AR) Burr, Richard (R-NC) Chambliss, Saxby (R-GA) Chiesa, Jeff (R-NJ) Coats, Dan (R-IN) Coburn, Tom (R-OK) Cochran, Thad (R-MS) Collins, Susan (R-ME) Corker, Bob (R-TN) Cornyn, John (R-TX) Graham, Lindsey (R-SC) Hoeven, John (R-ND) Isakson, Johnny (R-GA) Johanns, Mike (R-NE) Johnson, Ron (R-WI) Kirk, Mark (R-IL) McCain, John (R-AZ) McConnell, Mitch (R-KY) Murkowski, Lisa (R-AK) Thune, John (R-SD) Wicker, Roger (R-MS)

LEADING THE SURRENDER

There were a lot of people who worked against us in this fight, but nobody worked harder to fund Obamacare in the Senate thanMitch McConnell (R-KY), the Republican Leader.”

“You are engaging in “class warfare” in the sense that you envy persons drawing a federal paycheck.”

So drawing a federal paycheck is something to envy?!!

If they talk long enough, they end up singing the Internationale and giving themselves away.

Good call, Sal. For those of us who happen to work for a living in a world outside the safety, security and protection of a government check or pension (though we pay their salaries with our taxes) we are left to deal with the fallout of this disaster. “We The People”, who pay our taxes on time, follow the rules, and try to live a peaceable life. We of a working age that we will most likely NEVER see a SS check in our lifetime, yet support those who do. Doesn't sound like ‘anarchy’ to me.

In addition to being overworked and overtaxed ourselves. We will now be ‘rewarded’ with losing our healthcare per the outrageous tax and expense of Obamacare. I know most families can't afford it, but we are considered middle class and worker bees. Sit down, shut up and support the hive of the welfare state. And when we speak up for the Constitution and our rights defended under it, we are referred to as ‘anarchists’? How Alinsky-like!

I'm with Cruz on this!

Thanks for the info, especially about Hatch. I wondered where that RINO was hiding. Hey Mark Levin, how is that Orrin Hatch support working out for ya? I know Mark is a solid patriot, but he sure blew that call. I think Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and little Lindsey have sealed their fate. As well as Lamar Alexander. We are a good trusting people but we are reaching our limits. Sad that it wasn’t forty years ago.

You are engaging in “class warfare” in the sense that you envy persons drawing a federal paycheck.

No, THEY are engaging in taxpayer warfare. I know I work, I know they don't. I have to pay for the parasites.

Should the fed shut down...you and everyone else would suffer...

Really, aside from the military, what would I miss;

The US junk-mail service? No.
Welfare? No.
The Dept of Education? No.
HUD? Hell No.
The EPA? Double Hell no.
The IRS!!!!!

It is FOLLY to think we can force him into backing off by a shut down.

Who's suggesting that? The RATs want to shut it down, not Cruz and company.

...you are a traitor as bad as those on the left. You are an absolute fool of the highest (lowest) order.

Yeah, and I'll bet you're one of those parasites living off the taxpayers.

If anyone needs to shut up, it is you...NOT Senator Coburn.

I never said he should, I said the parasites should STFU...THEY should be fired. And by the way, if the shoe fits.....WEAR IT!

He knows that the Republicans calling for a shut-down

Try to pay attention, the Republicans are NOT calling for a shutdown.

You draw a taxpayer funded paycheck....Don't you.

Thank you Jim.
I will stifle my cynicism, and stand as long as my legs hold out. And when they fail, I will sit, and still remain standing. With you as an example, there are no excuses for failure.

Last year I paid the Federal government $165.00 a day, on average, every day, for what? Bad enough they have agencies trying to shut down my way of making a living, now they want my health care, too? Bad enough they have violated the first, second, fourth, fifth, amendments of the Constitution religiously, but they continue to show utter contempt for the rest of it as well.

Tell me again, what is the downside of halting a juggernaut headed in the wrong direction?

Kindly explain how stopping a government from spending more money we don't have on things it is not supposed to do is a bad idea, even for a day.
