So where is the tie to Lenin in all of this? Though the author never gets around to saying it, he is correlating the battle between the RINO establishment and the conservative base to the Menshevik-Bolshevik struggle within the Soviet Communist party -- whence Lenin's minority overcame the majority and seized power.
