Meanwhile: Romney warns threat to shut down government not ‘effective’

...."I think there's a better way of getting rid of ObamaCare — my own view — and that is, one, delaying it by at least a year,” Romney said. “That was Senator (Joe) Manchin's idea, the Democrats' idea.”.....

Only an observation....but if Cruz can step across the line and generate his own ‘caucus’ in the House...then McCain and the dozen other ‘French Republicans’ can basically retire or resign.

Cruz is proving on a dozen levels the bogus nature that the Obama-crowd talked up about the President’s way to work deals and arrange compromises as he learned as a Senator. The President has no such skills. If Cruz works the House in some fashion....I’d say he just proved he’s way ahead of the crowd and ready for the Presidency already.

I imagine conservative House members sought him out as much as he was eager to work with them.

They want to win the battles.

They want to stop the destruction of the country.

They want to do what their constituents elected them to do.

Obama to Republicans: 'I will not negotiate'

The president used his weekly address to the American people to demand that Congress meet its two responsibilities: “pass a budget on time and pay our bills on time.” Despite Republican attempts to defund his signature healthcare reform law, the president promised that the next phase of the law will kick in on October 1 “no matter what.”

“I will work with anyone who wants to have a serious conversation about our economic future,” Obama said. “But I will not negotiate over Congress’ responsibility to pay the bills it has already racked up. I don’t know how to be more clear about this: no one gets to threaten the full faith and credit of the United States of America just to extract ideological concessions.”.................

If the conservatives/Cruz are thwarted by the Republican establishment such that no significant change to ObamaCare implementation (defund or delay) it is either the end of the RHINOs or the endd of the party. Obamacare itself may take care of the democrats.

Republican Leadership Needs to Watch Braveheart

............"Hollywood’s heroes, like William Wallace, resonate because deep down people want leaders who fearlessly strive for what they believe, and not noblemen who are noble in name only. The people want larger than life figures who will fight for them. And ultimately, they want leaders they can trust so they can live their lives, raise their children and enjoy their limited time on this green earth free from worry about an avaricious government. Today’s noblemen of D.C. face choices in these upcoming weeks that will stay with them for a lifetime. Obamacare will either be implemented or it will be gutted.

While some may take the Braveheart analogy as too simplistic, it will be impossible to explain the nuances of the day to someone a few years from now unable to access health care because of the Obamacare doctor shortage.

Now is when the decision is made and there will be no turning back. It is time for Republicans to choose whether they will claim their historic legacy as our nation’s freedom party, or if they will recede into the history books replaced by those who are willing to take the mantle of freedom fighter from them."

Would that Sarah Palin was in the House to speak up for the will of the Tea Party. We must rally to support the Tea Party in the House—Stand with Ted Cruz and Mike Lee! Let us support those who are giving their all for Freedom!

Cruz takes the GOPe to leadership school but they won’t lead, can’t follow, and thrive on getting in the way.

Cruz is setting the standard, raising the bar far above self service, making integrity, honesty, boldness, character and sacrifice, once again the principles of leadership, he is quickly gaining the respect, confidence and loyalty from all those who wish to once again see a free republic.

Cruz is doing his job.

This article reads like he is breaking some sort of rules.

Of course he is speaking to Conservatives, that is what you do when you form a coalition.

Cruz is leading—and that is something Boehner and Mitch McConnell do not know how to do.

If Senate conservative Republicans HAVEN’T been working with House conservative Republicans all along, then this is a sad commentary on the conservative leadership in both houses.

Ah! We see Romney is STILL preferring to do things the Dim way! Nothing's changed with this guy.

Meanwhile, Ted continues to step over the RINO road blocks, to lead the way.

Go Cruz!!

During his stand on the Senate floor, Sen Cruz said 1,500,000 had signed up.

This morning, just shy of 1,900,000 have now signed up.

In 2 1/2 days when the clock at the site linked below runs out, there will be 2,000,000 + signed up.

I think that will grab the attention of our soon to be gone compliant representatives and senators.
