Immigrants in US face uncertainty after floods

EVANS, Colorado (AP) — Immigrants living in the U.S. illegally returned to their mobile home parks in flood-ravaged Colorado to find that there was little left to salvage — not the water-damaged cars, not the old family pictures and not the sheds carried away by the rushing waters.

The destruction, however, was only the beginning of what's been a nightmarish two weeks. They didn't have flood insurance. And because they are not citizens or legal residents — and don't have family members who are — they won't get the federal government's help.

"They say that faith and hope die last," said Juan Partida, 40, a dairy worker who along with his wife Mari, who is pregnant, do not qualify for federal emergency aid because they are in the country illegally. "We need to have faith and hope that we'll get help."

How quickly they can rebuild their lives, relying largely on local government and nonprofit organizations, will have long-term ramifications on the industries that depend on their labor, from meatpacking plants and farms to construction and hotels.

Why does the MSM care about illegal foreign invaders so much?

The MSM have a vested interest in destroying American culture, and they know that the influx of third world immigrants will do that, so they care far more for the invaders, than for patriotic Americans.

When a few thousand sneak across the US border "for a better life," that would engender an "amnesty" discussion....and most Americans would be amenable to that.

But tens of millions of illegals are brazenly violating our sovereign borders, using multiple identities to ride the US gravy train---money laundering the haul back to the Third World.

They are financing numerous political pressure groups, Capital Hill lobbyists, legal groups to sue for their "rights", etc.

They are dues-paying members of radical organizations marching in our streets, brazenly DEMANDING govt handouts, and radical changes in our laws, with plans to takeover the Southwest.

NOW THAT IS AN INVASION. Let's call it what it is.

I’ve been observing an ‘Immigrant’ family working the parking lots of two grocery stores here in Longmont, Co. One of the lots is located across the street from a major flood relief center. There’s daddy holding the sign and momma with two babies.

My favorite part of this:

"For those who do qualify for FEMA aid, immigrant advocates are concerned there's a lack of Spanish-language speakers to help families navigate the system."

So there you have it. Not enough of us speak Spanish.

I was there day one - and the destruction was truly terrible.

Let’s remember why we have this - the Democrat-driven welfare society has produced generations of domestic couch bound no-hitters. The parents are hard workers, but their American-born kids? Guess where they’ll end up?

Their employers should have to pay for their one way tickets home.

Because all those who are citizens were not flooded. The water was obviously anti-immigration.

BINGO! That’s a winner! ....Plus, the employers should be fined at least $1000 for every illegal they employed in their businesses. ....If the employers can’t afford all of that, then they should be required to sign a legal contract (like a bank loan for a car) and have liens placed on all of their business and personal properties.

That type of legislation might cause employers to pause a bit before hiring illegals instead of legal Americans.
