It wasn’t funny and it certainly didn’t mock Obamacare.

I got a chuckle about it because I interpreted it as the attitude of the people...free stuff.

The first woman, for example, I took as being the equivalent to the "obamaphone" woman. And yes, I can see people making up fake injuries/disease because she all of a sudden has "obamacare."

But, whatever.

What I saw was making fun of people that didn’t like or understand Obamacare. The bit with “Cruz” was over the top. It made Cruz out to be a buffoon.

Understand your position. See Herman Cain's take on the show.

I read it but still don’t agree. The doctor puffing on a cigarette...what was the point? Just weird stuff.

SNL can never get better than Gilda Radner and Madeline Kahn playing Baba Wawa unable to understand Marlene Dietrich. Priceless!

Not related to the subject at hand, but this is my favorite SNL memory (introduced by none other than Meat-head):

Fred Arminson was terrible as Dear Leader, Jay Pharoah is much better.

And they didn’t mock Maobama, they mocked people who don’t like Obamacare.

Ed, you may be right. I saw some skit of Fred’s that I liked because he got the cadence down. It was good. Could only find a couple of videos today, and like you say, they were terrible.

I too think they avoided dissing ‘the one’.
