Well, so far the stereo-tactic radiation treatment has been a bust. When they sucked all the air out of the enclosure and it really held me fast, and put a lot of pressure on my back, the pain was just too great. I have to. Hold still, to within 1/2 mm for over two hours and I barely got through a half hour without starting to tense muscles and squirm a bit vecause ofit.
Yesterday they tried first with hydro-codine...no go. Waited a few hours and tried with fyntinal...also no go. Still too much pain. Today we pull out all the stops and will try with Oxy-cottin.
If that doesn’t work (and at this point, I do not think it will), we will regroup and look at it next year. I have three very small spots in my illium which were there from the start and are growing ver lowly that they want to treat.
That’s okay. The Lord’s Hand is in this, and I accept His will, whatever it is.
I’ve never taken anything but my wife swears Oxycontin is the real deal. Good luck.
Oh Jeff. OK, prayers a workable treatment plan is managed quickly for you. Thanks for keeping us posted. You were in my thoughts most of the time yesterday.
