Safely picked up and at home,thanks! The morning commute was easy. The afternoon commute was long by virtue of the airport diversion - I had a 40 minute sit-down in the Airport Cell Phone Waiting Lot - her flight was 20 minutes late arriving and she had checked baggage.
We had a smooth ride home with the exception of a couple of miles on the GW Parkway and the Capital Beltway.
It's great to have her home - She'll be living and working in D.C., but we will have a chance for her to sing at Choir this Sunday. I'm sure she will get an enthusiastic reception when she shows up at Rehearsal this Thursday.
