An end-of-day announcement allegedly made by a Dobbs Ferry High School student ended with an arrest on Thursday, according to police.
The Dobbs Ferry Police Department reported receiving a phone call at 3:02 p.m. on September 26 from a DFHS staff member reporting a student in a third floor classroom could have a firearm.

And the student is arrested ...
for incorrectly saying ...
that another student may have a gun ...
Staff member? Any charges there? Or is that all cool-like?

the criminalization of speech in government schools:if someone says anything that may be related to guns then they are arrested. remember they arrested kids for drawing guns and chewing a pop-tart into a shape of a gun.
and many Americans still trust the government and government schools.

I think the person who called the cops should always be arrested -- after all they probably said, "Help! Officer! I'm frightened! I think someone here has a GUN!"
Having said the word "gun", the caller really needs to be arrested and fingerprinted.
