Hmmm. Lotta hate in this thread. The broad-brush swipes at all federal employees are especially disappointing to this conservative. Like all broad brushes, the swipes are messy, inaccurate, and unfair. Some of us work very hard for a mission. In my case, it’s overseeing the testing of new aircraft and amphibious systems before they get dumped on the warfighters. Not a mission you support? Why not?
And for the record, no bill has been passed by either house that repays us civilian employees for time on furlough. You know-the same way we lost pay during the Sequestration-induced furloughs. No mention has been made of reducing our work commensurate with work time available. Just the pay is reduced.

Well nobody at my company has been paid one red cent for their furlough days which has been one per week per employee for four years now. And nobody gives a crap. BTW, 90% of us are vets and nobody gives a good damn about that either.
