Doesn’t Apple get 90 cents of every dollar from iTunes?

30% is Apple's cut. That's in line with other digital vendors (I've researched this as a potential publisher, and a 30% cut for the seller is pretty much right in line with what I've seen.)

I have no idea. I have never owned an apple. I have never down loaded a tune from I-tunes.

I never understood why the I-Pod was heralded as a huge advancement when digital music and the MP3 where around a full decade before.

I am no great audiophile, but I am incapable of telling the difference in either form of storage for music.

I understand that those who own an Apple always praise it as the best. If so why are they constantly getting the new model? Also, why is it always exponentially more expensive than other platforms?
