There Has to Be a System [No there doesn't]

Some years ago I was discussing conservative health care ideas with a liberal ex-pat Brit. This was when Obamacare was just a gleam in Obama's eye. Her comeback was that "there has to be a system."

I mentioned that to Lady Marjorie, who is blasting into orbit right now that her individual health insurance plan has been terminated and replaced with a plan that costs 30 percent more with higher deductibles. She retorted that most people think that a "big thing" like health care or education just has to be done by the government. In other words, there has to be a system.

No there doesn't. And we know that liberals know this because of their professed love of Darwinian evolution. Liberals love evolution because it neuters the notion that God organized and created everything everything from scratch, that God created a top-down "system" and said that it was good. On the contrary, evolution by natural selection says that the living organisms that adapt best to their environment get to survive and breed successfully and the others don't. There's no system except the DNA and sexual reproduction, and all that is a product of evolution too.

But health care without a system? That's Social Darwinism! That means leaving the poor and the helpless to go without! There's no hope of getting affordable health care without a system, a government system run by large-minded liberals and their expert-led supporters.

So Obama created Obamacare and said that it was good....

Leftist Utopians like Obama and Weatherman Bill Ayers know that there can't be heaven on earth, but they don't care - this is how they get their power. Obamacare is a major step towards that Tyranny. They don't care how many are hurt or die in the process.

Where is the “system” that puts every consumer good known to mankind at retail stores and on the Internet?

Oh, wait, it’s called “capitalism.”

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C. S. Lewis

All who doubt the wisdom of Lewis might watch a youtube video of the President's remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast. There, Obama arrogantly misappropriated Jesus's spiritual challenge to individuals, claiming those words as validating and authorizing abusive use of coercive power by himself and his cronies to "take" from some in order to buy votes and accumulate more power to themselves--all in the name of "helping" the beneficiaries of such unconstitutional "takings."

Hear Samuel Adams:

"Is it now high time for the people of this country to explicitly declare whether they will be free men or slaves. It is an important question which ought to be decided. It concerns more than anything in this life. The salvation of our souls is interested in this event. For wherever tyranny is established, immorality of every kind comes in like a torrent, it is in the interest of tyrants to reduce the people to ignorance and vice.” - Samuel Adams

There has to be a system. But the system has to be evolved. It cannot be designed.

No, mostly stupid women believe in big government, and Democrats play to this group often ("War on Women").

I recall when Bill Clinton left office, he made a particularly telling statement about the inherent stupidity of people to know what’s best for them. That’s why Govt. is much better than we Peasants to “fix health care.” Leftie women prove Clinton right - they will probably need help from that big Man in their life, Uncle Sam.
