I am kind of joking but I also was telling how it it all went down...In my opinion the Chinese guy panicked in a situation I would have handled without setting off this mayhem

And how would you handled a mob of gangsta bikers attacking you?

I doubt that. I think you would have had your ass kicked too.
Only worse. You would have tried to “negotiate” in the
beginning when you were in a secluded area. Unless you
were packing heat, they would have thumped you out and
had their way with your wife and kid. That’s just plain
dumb. If this ever happens to you, do us a favor and
practice what you preach and then, if you can, tell us
how it all turned out.

I was in a similar situation when I was 4-yrs-old. My parents, me, and my brother were traveling on a highway, going home after a day of shopping. As we were driving down the highway, a truck in front of us slammed on his brakes so hard that my brother and I almost flew over the back seat (days before there were seat belts). My dad changed lanes and the truck swerved in front of us. To make a long story short, he started playing chicken with us. My dad was finally able to get around him and as we passed him, his equally crazy passenger (a woman) pointed a shotgun out the window at us. My mom put my brother and myself on the floorboard. He followed us all the way to the nearest police station and my dad just honked the horn as loud as he could and when the police came out, they pulled the drunk guy out and arrested him. Let me tell you; I’m 55 yrs old and will NEVER forget the terror of that incident. My dad was no cry-baby (ex-paratrooper); and both of my parents were extremely shaken. When you find yourself in that kind of awful situation, it’s very hard to keep a clear mind as to what to do.

I sincerely hope that you NEVER have to make such a decision.

You better have your driving skills in top notch condition.
