President Barack Obama summoned congressional leaders to the White House on the second day of a partial government shutdown that has furloughed hundreds of thousands of workers and closed military cemeteries as far away as France. Republican leaders welcomed the Wednesday afternoon meeting but questioned whether Democrats were ready to deal.

I happen to agree with you on this. These meetings with 0bama always go badly for our side or anyone who opposes this dictator. What threat will now be made? What blackmail will be used?
Can the conservative base support Boehner et al, in the face of a revealed corruption if Boehner finally decided to stand tall and lead?

Don’t give in, make them give you:
one year delay
end of religious conscience unfairness
end of anything remotely resembling or connected to “death panels” whether in counseling, funding, or decision groups or individuals.
end of unfair costs from state to state
end of unfair advertising that doesn’t include ALL monthly payments, deductibles, co-pays, and special pays, and add to that average individual costs of all new taxes, fees, etc.

This meeting has nothing to do with the shutdown. This meeting is to negotiate what Republicans want in exchange for increasing the debt limit.
My bet is after yesterday’s debacle with Obamacare, obama will settle for the 1 year delay ( which will go to 2015) in exchange for another trillion. If that happens, both sides win politically while we all lose, as usual.
