Your post is why I say “Not good enough.” Those Monuments and Memorials are ours, not his. They belong to us.

Actually Barry won that round in the eyes of the press. The Republicans shutdown the National Parks, Obummer was the one letting the vets in.

Closing down that monument was a major public relations disaster for the Obamanoids. And they made it even worse when they threatened to arrest any veterans who crossed the Barrycade. The seething outrage coming from the general public was so thick it was positively radioactive. They felt that heat coming off the street. They didn’t blink, they cringed.

Wasn't the WWII Memorial created using private donations?

Yes, answered my own question: WWII Memorial

From the Website: The memorial was funded primarily by private contributions. The fund-raising campaign was led by National Chairman Senator Bob Dole and National Co-Chairman Frederick W. Smith.

Senator Dole, a World War II veteran seriously wounded on the battlefield and twice decorated with the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, was the Republican nominee for president in 1996 and the longest-serving Republican Leader in the U.S. Senate.

Frederick W. Smith is chairman, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Corporation, a global transportation and logistics holding company. He is a graduate of Yale and a former U.S. Marine Corps officer, and serves on the boards of various transport, industry and civic organizations.

The memorial received more than $197 million in cash and pledges. This total includes $16 million provided by the federal government.

No...it should be “being a toilet” in Leavenworth. The punishment should fit the crime.

Like everything else in ObamaWorld, you can get what you want as long as you have a political connection with the White House.

First of all I am going to say this first to not get misunderstood, okidoki ?

Now with that out of the way let me state first of I have to say has nothing to do with the WWII vets or law abiding American who have a right to exercise their 1st Amendment rights.

Now my statement.....

For some, 1st Amendment rights are more equal than for others....

As for leftist, liberals, commies, Democrats, the Obama administration, it's called " selective 1st Amendment rights for his people's and no 1st Amendment rights for other peoples.

I didn’t say that we won the whole battle. Simply that they blinked, showed weakness first.
