And why didn't the Speaker say this? He gave a 1 minute "they won't negotiate" speech and walked away after meeting with the President. And then Pelosi/Reid slammed him for 10.
The GOP SUCKS at PR. Boehner could have slammed them in prime time for this....but instead...he walked away from the mic. He could have framed the debate because every camera in DC was sitting outside the White House. Instead...he spoke for a minute and then let the dems frame the debate.

Boehner doesn’t want to do this, but he has no choice. The House Republicans fear their constituencies more than the leadership. Boehner is now following US.
