Bush is not and never was a supporter of small government. Nobody in the whole clan supports small government.
Elect someone like Lew Rockwell or Murray Rothbard and see what happens, instead of posers like Rubio, Ryan or any sort of Bush.
Lew Rockwell? Is that the same guy that freepers used to call Lewser Rockwell?
Maybe it is. Freepers are quite diverse in their opinions. I don’t agree with Lew on several issues, but he would take a chainsaw to the Federal budget and power, reducing it to its Constitutional duties.
Lots of folk fault him for supporting open borders, but once he finished with the federal entitlement programs there would be a LOT fewer crossing in and MANY more going home.
You must not have read my post. A balanced budget means nothing if it is attained through higher taxes. We are not in a debt crisis because Obama has failed to push his so-called balanced budget with higher taxes.
we are in this mess because Obama and the dems and RINOs have pushed more entitlements on us. Whether Obama submits or does not submit some phony budget means nothing. The less Obama does the better.
