The GOP should state that they are a terrorist organization, then 0-bama will be happy to negotiate.

Mister Obama wants the confrontation so he has a stage for his ever-present, malignant blames, one suspects.

Mister Boehner likely has not figured out that by not surrendering, he's on the side of responsibility and good government; but, (in his defense) he has summoned up what appears to be an iota of courage (maybe it's fear of GOP ballot reprisals).

Obama has started fighting the next battle. The debt ceiling battle has him rattled. The Democrats have made a bad mistake not going for the repeal of the “medical device tax” to get the CR out of the way.

The "news" clip on wsb750am in Atlanta (probably from an AP, CBS, NBC or something syndication) made it sound like the Republicans wouldn't negotiate.

"Boehner came out and said, 'no negotiations'"

I saw threw it instantly because I have been trying to follow all this. I knew that Reid and Obama are not willing to negotiate, but the Republicans are the only ones changing their positions to try to get the creeps to the table.

Good. No negotiation, no compromise. No obamacare, period. I don’t care if the government stays “shut down” until the next election. We’ll bring in Senators that will see reason, obey the Constitution, and agree to de-fund the big-government socialist/fascist nightmare that is obamacare.

“Communists never negotiate in good faith and never compromise on anything. Way past time for the GOP to realize this.”

Correction: Way past time for the GOP members who aren’t fellow travelers to realize this.

Why should he? He has the MSM behind him and Hollywood—what else does he need? They will get the folks to hate the Evil Republicans and Tea Party wack jobs and the Democratic/Progressives will win back all the losses suffered in 2010—and it will be Obama’s time again—just as it was! Then Hillary will be president in 2016 and pardon him and continue the Progressive Revolution for another eight years! Why should he blink? In a month the GOP will be no more and the people will lynch the Tea Party for wrecking the economy and all! You just have to think like Obama—that’s all.

It was a clear photo-op for Reid and Pelosi to flail out at all Republicans in every direction possible.
The real news was Reid and Pelosi trying to tell the American public that the Congress
have no business controlling money that the RATs want to spend. In realville the battle
should be much more furious and contemptible as intended by our Founders. Gunfights, Fistfights and all.

If Dingy Harry or a host of other leftist/commie democRATS shows up at my front door, there WILL be at least a fistfight.

Just sayin'...

Exactly...why is Boehner chasing Obama around? We got the removal of all non-essential personnel and Obamacare could simply be defunded.

Haven’t we been asking for this for four years?
