Alternative?

Oh you make me laugh.

How many times has Barrycade unlawfully issued waivers, exemptions, subsidies or outright deferred parts of implementation where there was no provision for doing so in the law.

How many Americans died as a result of an illegal and unlawful international gun running scheme.

When will we get to the bottom of why we were running weapons out of Libya and arming Syrian insurgents.

Can a single president simply ignore acts passed by congress which are law such as DOME.

Do I need to expand the list of illegal, unlawful and unconstitutional acts this president has committed.

It is indeed good to be king.

Efficiency and rapid action can be achieved by having a single point of control, a king or dictator

Or, as our framers knew, by a small group sharing the reins of power and singing from the same sheet of political music. In 2009-2011 we slipped into an oligarchic junta form of government, with Obama/Pelosi/Reid cracking the whip over their underlings, our supposed representatives and senators. Resistance was futile. Pretending to abide by the legislative process, these three orchestrated the greatest assault ever on republican freedom.

Even if Obamacare is defunded, there is an overhang from Scotus, which ruled our masters in Washington DC may order us to purchase goods or services we don’t want. IOW, the oligarchs can force slaves to purchase their own chains.

They (framers) knew that the power must be divided, and they deliberately created a government with three branches that included checks and balances within the system itself.

That is true, but it ignores an important aspect of our constitutional history. THE FIRST and most important division of power was between the states and the new government. The states gave up significant portions of sovereignty, and in return, they demanded a presence in congress to protect their retained sovereignty and the powers they did not grant.

Their senate of the states was seen as vitally important to secure our liberty. Absent a senate of the states, our framers were certain that all power would soon flow upward, become consolidated, and abuse our liberty.

They were right, and we are living the nightmare our framers feared.

The 17th amendment must be repealed.
