I couldn't help noticing a related article at the link about two lower Manhattan eateries whining because their business was off 35% from federal workers.
Which brings up the question of why so many federal workers are needed in such an expensive place as lower Manhattan. And why they are so well paid that the eateries even notice after three lousy days?
I can guarantee you that if our plant stopped working, it would take a lot more than three days for the local Wendy's or McDonald's to even notice. About 90% of us bring our lunch. And about 80% of the remaining 10% buy something from one of our vending machines.
I got an idea for the administration. They could hunt around Normandy and I am sure they would find some old barbed wire, tank traps and concrete barriers used by the Germans. They could use that stuff to errect barricades around the Normandy cemetery. Recycling while getting the job of shuttin down the gubmint accomplished all in one!!
"Mind if I play through?"
Ram the Barrycades and take back the beaches from the son of a b&tches.
As the French love to tweak us from time to time, maybe they could tell barry to shove it and place their own ARMED guards to keep it open.
Can the Rodeo Clown be any more petty?
I think real Americans will just start ignoring their shutdown antics.
Again, Obama shows his disdain for what America did, in freeing Europe, from a dictator.
