Heroic "Unpaid" US Capitol Police [Really!?]

Multiple mentions made by the liberal-leaning FNC commentators, at least one being A.B.Stoddard of The Hill, highlight that 'some' of the LEOs (Capitol Police & US Secret Service) are doing their duties 'unpaid'. Yes, they did their job in this chaotic incident with the automobile attack, but unpaid - really?

Remember the standing ovation in the House? Why’d they do that so soon? That was the first step in closing ranks. I smell a *mess*— an unarmed black woman with a child shot—by a white cop? Wow. And I notice that they started floating the “mentally ill” thing right away, just like with the Navy yard shooter. They’re spinning the narrative. I wish a reporter could take the license plate and find out who the heck she was.

I guess if it was my relative who almost got run over by her car, I might have a different view. I just thought law enforcement was trained to shoot tires out first..things like that.

Definitely sad the child lost his/her mom today. Maybe little by little we will find out the truth. The key might be to talk with her friends before the FBI, CIA, tell them to stay quiet.

That's a good point as to why they didn't shoot out her tires. But she could have surrendered at any point and didn't also. Guess we'll eventually know the whole story.

I am beginning to wonder about all this. There must be tons of video. How much of it we see will tell us something about what really transpired.

There is precious little damage showing on the car for a ramming incident. Did she have an accident turning around near the white hut and panic? Did the agent shooting and hitting her car cause her unbridled terror? And all those white faces with guns pointed at her ... did decades of hearing all the race-hustler stories instill such a deep fear that the "fight or flight" instinct was in complete control? Something just isn't adding up here. Let's see the original "ramming" video.

I don’t really know the sequence of events enough to judge, but from the sounds of it she could have easily—and maybe even rightfully—been too panicked to expose herself to such a shooting squad. I wonder if she really did approach 70MPH in driving from the the White House to the Capital.

You don't shoot tires out unless you are in times square at noon. She was freaked. It would not end till she found a comfort zone. The real question was, did they kill the car?

15 to 17 rounds at three different locations. That is a lot of opportunity for innocents to be hurt or killed. I read there were head and neck injuries.
