It became too expensive and time consuming for him to comply with state regulations. Although the best production staff, hair and makeup people are in California, he has not done a film in the Golden State in seven years.

Sandler grew up in Manchester, NH. He recently built his family a house not to far from mine, to the west side of Nashua & Manchester. He did not want his children growing up in Southern California.
