I would buy that story in a NY minute too. That whole town is a corrupted cess pool. My son, who was majoring in Political Science and Business, went to DC his senior year in college on an internship at a conservative non profit one summer. He came back saying he would never go work in DC. He hated the entire vibe there...lol. He now has a great job for an ‘evil’ oil company and loves it...lol.

Here is my “conspiracy” theory - police were upset at how this would look, so changed their story yesterday. Maybe I am wrong, but I don’t know.

Bipolar disorder is manic depression. Comparing it to schizophrenia is like saying the common cold and HIV are the same thing since both have viral origins.

<><><><

I appreciate your attempt to school me on something I dealt with daily for the last 15 years of my mother’s life. She passed last year.

In your haste to correct me, you entirely missed the most salient point of all, to wit, when mentally ill folks (be they bipolar or schizophrenic) go off their meds, their behavior becomes erratic, psychosis can kick in and then we have a fine mess.

And because I know how difficult it is to read entire articles before commenting, I’ll just repost this paragraph:

“Authorities who searched the apartment in Stamford, Connecticut, found one medication to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and another that is an antidepressant, according to the source.”

Seems she might have suffered from mulitiple mental health disorders.

I was having seizures years ago, was misdiagnosed, and given antidepressants. I was worse after them, and felt I was not in control of m body. My body did things which scared me (I raised my arms without wanting too, in a threatening manner to some elderly people). I stopped the SSRIs immediately. The people I know that take them get MEAN. They also either aren’t depressed, or have very low level depression.

ABC, NBC, CNN, etc. are all breaking speed records to conclude that she was crazy and that's the end of the story. We aren't even getting the usual "officials said on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to talk about the case" this time around.

I think it's a simple case of the LEO's completely overreacting... and the government/media is saying "move along, nothing to see here"

“I do think these powerful psychotic and antidepressant drugs are part of the problem these days”

Damn straight! The problem is that General Practitioners are able to prescribe meds they arent trained for with no plan for therapy or for removing the patient from the meds. They are given out like anti-biotics. Most patients are not properly warned about the addictive nature of these drugs nor are they warned about the psychotic withdrawls that are worse than any illegal drug. I have seen this repeated over and over. Patient gets anti-depressants, takes them for a bit, then comes off them triggering a psychotic episode.

I have to agree with you. This was moved upon and lain out at light speed by the lame-stream media. Mysteries upon mysteries.

Seems like maybe the doctors were not sure where her illness fell in terms of a firm diagnosis so were seeing which meds she responded to the best.

“The Diagnostic Interview for Genetic Studies was used to determine history of traumatic brain injury and diagnosis for 1,275 members of multiplex bipolar disorder pedigrees and 565 members of multiplex schizophrenia pedigrees. RESULTS: Rates of traumatic brain injury were significantly higher for those with a diagnosis of schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression than for those with no mental illness.”

From PsychiatryOnline, American Journal of Pyschiatry,Vol 158, No.3.

I strongly believe any psychiatric problems with the possible exception of pp depression can be traced to her head injury which was described by her former boss as being significant.

I have a close relative with bipolar disorder, classic symptoms, EXCEPT he also has frequent bouts of driving all over the state running from government satellites that are shooting burning beams at him “because of what I know.”

And he has a gun with him.

Yes, we do our dead-level best to keep him contained. At the moment, he is safely tucked away, medicated, and content.

The point is that mental illness is a broad spectrum. A patient can have symptoms of one type and a diagnosis of another. One treatment does not fit all.

Regardless of her mental state ,the police used excessive, that is, lethal force when any valid reason for it had passed.

She was executed by government thugs.

Under Obamacare, won’t this become a problem? That treatments and such will become more one size fits all to save money or whatever?

Since the lame-stream is not doing their job, maybe we can find if there are any discrepancies if we get a fathers name and run toward birth certificate. Doubt the lame-stream media will bother to check for any discrepancies. Please ping me, if father’s name comes out and you see before me. I’ll do same if see father’s name and send a ping.

I’m sorry for your relative’s problems.

It seems he should be KEPT safely tucked away and medicated.

Well Bi Polar Disorder isn’t schizophrenia. A close family member got along for months and months without meds till something happened.

<><><><><

OK. The two conditions are not exactly the same. When on meds for either condition, however, can lead to psychosis if the meds are simply stopped.

I am puzzled though by your statement that everything was fine “till something happened”. Sounds like you recognize that your close family member should have been on meds, which might have avoided that something that happened.
