High school graduation rates among children of same-sex households (are 35% lower)
Review of Economics of the Household ^ | September 2013 | Douglas W. Allen

Posted on 10/04/2013 1:06:38 PM PDT by reaganaut1

Abstract: Almost all studies of same-sex parenting have concluded there is “no difference” in a range of outcome measures for children who live in a household with same-sex parents compared to children living with married opposite-sex parents. Recently, some work based on the US census has suggested otherwise, but those studies have considerable drawbacks. Here, a 20 % sample of the 2006 Canada census is used to identify self-reported children living with same-sex parents, and to examine the association of household type with children’s high school graduation rates. This large random sample allows for control of parental marital status, distinguishes between gay and lesbian families, and is large enough to evaluate differences in gender between parents and children. Children living with gay and lesbian families in 2006 were about 65 % as likely to graduate compared to children living in opposite sex marriage families. Daughters of same-sex parents do considerably worse than sons.

Hat tip: Maggie Gallagher at National Review Online.

People with common sense understand that children are generally best off with their married biological parents (although that it is not always possible -- I understand that death and divorce happen).

How do you get children from a same sex union?

Kidnapping?

This is an early indicator, in another five years, this same group will demonstrate an increase in criminal sex offenders, mass killers, serial killers and a whole host of really bad stuff...IMO!

Our next-door neighbors (lesbians) have twin sons. One of them dropped out of high school during the last school year.

It’s hard to be daddy’s little hustler and get good grades at the same time.

The kids are kept busy being visual props at demonstrations, gay pride events, protests, vigils. They don’t have time for school.

Rosie O’Donnell’s kid had to go to military school - the last refuge of the mixed-up child.

**************************

The same way that heterosexuals do. One of them has sex with a male.

This is an early indicator...

Bingo. This monstrosity is still relatively in the petri dish. What happens 20 or 30 years down the line when the horrific consequences more fully manifest themselves in these now-adults? The Gaystapo will play innocent, or completely brush it off. They got their way; society be damned.

Has anyone posting here read the article, as opposed to the abstract?

One gave birth to the sons, and the other adopted them.

All products of a man and a woman. Why is this so hard to grasp?

1. Natural child of mother #1 or mother #2 with necessary ex-husband or ex-boyfriend contribution.

2. Inseminator-sired child of one mother or the other.

3. IVF-generated child of one mother or the other.

4. Adopted child of one mother or the other, or both.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Do you think I don’t know that? Someone asked a question, and I responded. Good grief.
