A backlog of Americans tried to get onto the Obamacare exchanges that went live on Tuesday, amid delays and glitches (and high demand/traffic) with the marketplaces.
Meanwhile, a shutdown continues as the GOP tries to defund, delay, or otherwise defang the law.

David Stockman, former director of the Office of Management and Budget in the Reagan Administration, former member of Congress, and author of The Great Deformation, essentially says: bring it on. This, despite Obamacare being the law, passed in 2010 by a president who was re-elected in 2012 (while the candidate who ran on repealing it was defeated), and which has been upheld by the Supreme Court.
So why should it be repealed?
It is the worst law ever passed in the last four decades by the federal government, Stockman argues in the video above. It is a massive entitlement to end all entitlements. It is going to cause a fiscal hemorrhage that is not even yet anticipated. It will tie up one-sixth of GDP in the most monstrous, massive, bureaucratic snarl that you cant imagine. So therefore this needs to be stopped before it becomes operational.

I set 'em up. You knock 'em down.
I expect it to implode...
People voted for them, and by the ‘rats implication, ObamaScare. But are you really voting for so ething when everything you were told about the “utopian” “healthcare”plan was a lie? When there was no way to know, for low-info voters, that it would turn into the fiasco we predicted, since they base their votes on identity politics, “their” side, or freebies, instead of looking at the possibilities, if not the facts?
And anyway, since when did winning, based on political campaign promises, automatically mean that we implement the policies . Otherwise, what need of the three branches? All they need is rubber-stamping body.
Either way the wheels will come off.
IDEA— what if Congress holds open televised sessions with citizens who wish to air their complaints about ObamaCare?
That would send a powerful message to the people bypassing the Pravda on the Potomac propaganda.
PPACA was designed to fail, and to usher in single payer.
Both the Republicans and the Democrats really want it to fail, but for different reasons.
Well of course it’s the worst law ever written! Obama,Pelosi and Reid rammed it down everyone’s throats!
This unholy trio should be impeached!!!
We all know there were problems with the cost of health insurance, THIS bill was not the way to go.
It burns my butt every time I think about how this issue was mishandled.
I understand that, but I’m not sure if the public will be in the mood for a government solution to the healthcare insurance problem at that point.
I am looking forward to the point where people start realizing that Obamacare for most will be catastrophic coverage with maternity care and no pre-existing conditions thrown in. For the most, unless people get admitted to the hospital or have a chronic condition they aren’t going to see their insurance pay for anything. They will just be paying premiums.
Okay now we will try the landline # 1-800-318-2596 listed above or 1-800-318-2596 = 1-800-FAU-CKYO.
I like the hexadecimal reference ID. Easier to memorize.
"After all, Prohibition was the law of the land (under the 18th Amendment), and the politics of its widespread loss of respect for the law resulted in its repeal (21st Amendment).
The 21st Amendment did not totally end Prohibition. The individual states could then vote in local option for either being wet or dry. But the power was stripped from the Federal government to enforce prohibition anywhere.
How was that for repeal and replace?
Hope springs eternal. I hope you’re right!
let’s put this into perspective..
what is the SECOND most worst law past in the previous four decades?????
the prescription drug benefit, passed by GWB and the pubs...
largest increase in public spending since the socialist security act..
now, with this firmly implanted in your head, who exactly is the enemy of the people????
Single payer might be a more attractive option if the policies being offered through the exchanges now weren’t so radically more expensive than was promised. We shall see.
Interested in your take on this:
lemme see if i gots this straight..
a 475 BILLION dollar program costs nothing..
some group i never heard of, supplies figures by people i never heard of, to ease the fears of the masses, because GWB was a hero???
go back to the GOP-E and tell them..
I would like to see a prime time nationally televised debate between Cruz/Lee and Reid/Obama.
