Of those who do enroll, I suspect a lot of them are going to lie about their income in order to maximum the Federal subsidy. I wonder how much of an enforcement mechanism there will be against Obama’s voting base?

From what I understand, everyone will be on their honor. Of course, if you receive a W-2 or 1099 there would be a means for IRS to verify income. But 47 percent of the people don’t pay income tax and a whole lot of those are probably part of the cash only underground. So cash payments only and no checking or interest bearing checking account, how is the IRS going to check?
There is no consistent check for food stamps, housing subsidy, medicaid, etc. eligibility so don’t expect this to be any different unless cash is eliminated.
