I believe I read that she’s one of the least wealthiest in the House. But I may be getting her mixed up w/ another pol who changed their mind about taking their checks/pay.

IMO...all pretty much bs that’s just for pr purposes.

She’ll get no credit outside of the FR, and she might be okay with that. Street cred.

In a ‘JUST’ world, those that AREN’T doing their job should be the FIRST to not get their pay.

As usual, the ‘innocents’ suffer while the people that are causing the problems are still ‘living it up’.

Even in most private businesses, when the end is near the ‘hired help’ gets paid while OWNERSHIP goes without, when Management and Labor don’t get paid, the doors get closed.

Just some more BS that these SOB’s vote for themselves.

Raises without a vote, campaigning from the day they get sworn in, receive pay while the rest of the force doesn’t, mention term limits and no matter how much they cry they aren’t being treated ‘fair’ or ‘hate’ the job, you don’t see them leaving in droves, most don’t leave till scandal forces them out or the voters wake up....

NEVER MEANT TO BE A CAREER.....

As long as they are standing firm against Obamacare I want them paid. They are doing their job.

She is only saying this now because they said that federal workers will get back pay. She is only putting off getting her paycheck while there is a shutdown, she is not giving up anything. What a hypocrite.

Renee Ellmers is 100 percent in favor of all an powerful federal government. She voted to support the NSA surveillance programs against the wishes of her constituents.

It would be great if the tea party would find a candidate to primary her.

She doesn’t get a check. ALL fed workers must use direct deposit. It’ll go straight into her bank account.

Palin helped her in (big time?).

Palin needs to take her out to the woodshed.

In my opinion, she’s the best kind of legislator. She’s a true representation of “the People,” esp. in this day and age.

Her comment was a gaffe, but since she’s a Republican, it’s magnified 10 fold.
