It looks like the trucker strike is fizzling. I think it was ill conceived. There’s better ways to call attention to the problems than stopping traffic in DC. Many may have been planning to go to this DC Memorial March, but were afraid of the trucker strike. Hopefully, if the Trucker strike fizzles as it is doing today, then more will show up to honor the veterans.

Do not underestimate the power of government threat.
But, it is very expensive to operate a tractor-trailer. These things do not go over well because while one owner-operator protests, there’s another waiting to haul that load left on the dock. Highly competitive industry if you’re independent even if you have a dedicated run.
