Why don’t they just pay the NSA? Or better yet, just ask obama to give them the info.

I wonder how many of those 2 million are fluent in English and have FR accounts to counter anytime someone suggests raising import tariffs on China.

Two million eavesdroppers! That's about the size of the army (PLA), or 0.15% of the population. That is a staggering number, even given the size of China's population. With improving English skills and direction from the Communist Party, China has the ability to influence and distort Internet discussions around the world. They could, for example, assign five of those two million to participate full-time in Free Republic.
A Chinese economist studying here told me last night that if the Communist Party gets out of line, then the Chinese "will just throw them out".
I don't think so!

Why can’t the author write a little better? I thought they were paying $2 mil for people to watch the internet.

"Youre against free trade, and thus a dirty commie! :)"You're for free trade which has allowed a real communist country to devastate our industries, rack up a huge trade deficit with us, allowing them to buy large amounts of our debt and worse our manufacturing firms and know how. And in the process they have caused us high unemployment, which is worsening our government debt problem.
And you call me the commie??!
I'm for raising the trade tariffs back up to where our founding fathers had them and to where they were our first 190 years. I'm for bringing back American industry and putting American workers back to work.
