With improving English skills and direction from the Communist Party, China has the ability to influence and distort Internet discussions around the world. They could, for example, assign five of those two million to participate full-time in Free Republic.
A Chinese economist studying here told me last night that if the Communist Party gets out of line, then the Chinese "will just throw them out".
