Posted the following on another thread, but guess it could apply here as well...pass it on if you like.

Any more of this CHARLEY FOXTROT and I may become upset.

In the meantime, while checking for NPS (Royal) Decrees in my neighborhood, I got shunted off to the Department of Interior site.

Which just so happens to still operate, has all of the supporting documentation/contingency plans for the Dread Event and has a “Contact Us” page which one supposes is intended for feedback from us humble subjects:

http://www.doi.gov/public/contact-us.cfm

If we can’t go to the parks and monuments that WE PAID FOR, I do think that maybe a few of us should light up these little petty tyrants the same way we did Congress’ switchboards last week.

Wow! Ted Cruz is simply marvelous in that clip you posted of his interview today with Candy Crawly. He is unflappable, concise, focused, and he refuses to accept the premises of his enemies or the news media (but, I repeat myself)!

Cruz is our new Reagan...

Just listened to Wallace and Lew.....truly stunning how questions are ‘only’ the fodder that signals to politicians they have the stage to spew their stance and avoid any reasonable dialog..... in front of cameras in every instance....I speak mainly about democrats as this is their “standard” way of “controlling” the conversation...thus nothing gets said or done!

Lew avoided any direct answers, of course, none want to go on record.

WH: Candy, dammit, we gave you the talking points to nail Cruz and you let him run all over you. Get your **** together or we're cutting off your chocolate allotment.

Candy: (sniff-sniff), Oh, God, don't do that, please, I'll do better next time, I promise, (sob-sob-sniff).

Boehner did great.

He did indeed. Cruz should say to him the line from Casablanca, "Welcome back to the fight. This time, I'm sure our side will win."

I just watched the Sen. Cruz and Mr. John Boehner interviews. Both men did a superb job. No attacks on anyone, just the simple facts.

Reed will not allow the Senate to vote on House passed appropriation bills - Sen.Cruz

Obama will not call me to negotiate - Mr. John Boehner

Yes, the Tea Party chorus is providing strong support to the House leadership spinal implant problem.

Sen Cruz as ever is the best thing to happen to the U.S. since the Revolutionary war.

When interviewers/attackers want to hurt Cruz they throw in his face any criticism he has ever gotten. What they never mention is how many times he has argued cased in front of the Supreme Court.

From his wiki bio: Cruz has authored more than 80 United States Supreme Court briefs and presented 43 oral arguments, including nine before the United States Supreme Court.

What the left like to pretend is in Obama’s resume’, is truly in Cruz’s story.

He should take some Hispanic votes for our side.

Why?

Does he speak Mexican...or Cuban?

on Meet the Press this morning Jack Lew said "... the economy is coming back..." Really Jack, after 5 years the best you can say is the economy is coming back!

Yeah Jack. You bastards, did a great job of killing it (including Geithner, the FED, Frank, Dodd and Fannie/Freddie)

How come you haven't brought it roaring back....Oh, you say you don't really want that?

Jack Lew said something like “by October the whatever we will not be able to borrow any more money”

Why, have they worn out the QE2 printing presses, and the "shutdown" prevents them from buying new ones?

Morning AB, All.

Just got home half hour ago, singing and meeting and greeting.

Seems many folks saw my article in the newspaper, what with the full color picture and half page story....I am quite pleased with myself, forgive my lack of humility.

As always, thank you AB for doing the thread.

Yeah I’m a bit full of myself. The Cape Gazette newspaper is the big newspaper here in Sussex. Way I figger, hell, an unelected bureaucrat sent me a notice that he will tear down my fence as, per the surveys of his builder buddies’ plans, my fence was on my nback neighbors’ land.

Only I had a survey of my own, back from 2003 when I bought my house.

Did this unelected bureaucrat ask me if I had any documentation? Did he give me a number to call for an appeal?

NO!

In the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I was tried and found guilty WITHOUT EVEN A DEFENSE!

So I got as much publicity out of this as I could, and, of course, I took action.

Man I got people stopping me in the streets!

Granddaughter’s little girlfriend saw the pic, she says SHE was once in the paper. “Course I didn’t look fabulouso like you do,” and man, you gotta smile at that, huh?

At Finance Council the other night I get a standing ovation. One guy, local Repub party guy, says “We want to know where you had your hair done for the pic.”

Heh. Doggone, I am an activist and look fabulouso doing so, how cool is that?

CAUSE I TOOK A STAND!

CAUSE I GOT UP THE MORNING OF THE PIC AND REMOLDED MY FACE AND FIXED UP THE “DO”.

CAUSE NO UNELECTED BUREAUCRAT WAS GOING TO TEAR DOIWN MY FENCE AND ME AN AMERICAN WITHOUT A TRIAL OF CHANCE TO DEFEND. I mean, at least these people getting beat up by nasty Obama and his minions, DAG AT LEAST OBAMA WAS ELECTED! I’m getting my property destroyed by some weasly unelected bureaucrat....how insulted are they going to make me till I tear them a new one in the rear?

I testified before the county council and did a great job. The fact that I hope a popular column on Delaware politics, well that helped....more on this later....real funny scoops....Exit 82....good scoops I got.

The pubs need me, hand to God.

Cause I’m getting as much attention here in the swamps as the pubs are....just gotta take a stand, comb your hair, man every property owner in Sussex county is on my side....come on guys.....there are causes we ALL SHARE! Even the liberals for God’s sake.

Ok, enough bragging. I got such a scoop on a local politician, hand to God, I got sent a thumb drive in SNAIL MAIL....pics and everything.

I wrote about it at link below.

Here's what they really want: ABC News democrat Debate, Philfydelphia, April 16th, 2008:

GIBSON: All right. You have, however, said you would favor an increase in the capital gains tax. As a matter of fact, you said on CNBC, and I quote, "I certainly would not go above what existed under Bill Clinton," which was 28 percent. It's now 15 percent. That's almost a doubling, if you went to 28 percent.

But actually, Bill Clinton, in 1997, signed legislation that dropped the capital gains tax to 20 percent.

OBAMA: Right.

GIBSON: And George Bush has taken it down to 15 percent.

OBAMA: Right.

GIBSON: And in each instance, when the rate dropped, revenues from the tax increased; the government took in more money. And in the 1980s, when the tax was increased to 28 percent, the revenues went down.

So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?

OBAMA: Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.

See, they don't CARE if the economy improves or not, they just want to meddle in it for "fairness" sakes. And THEY, not the rest of us, get to say what is fair or not.

When John Boehner was first chosen speaker of the House many Republicans were very happy because he was considered conservative. I am inclined to believe that over the years he has been worn down by lack of support, from within the Rep party, for positions that the GOP elites were uncomfortable with. Now that Boehner has backup from newer members of both the House and Senate he is in a position to take the hard road and still make gains. Good line you quoted. “Welcome back to the fight. This time, I’m sure our side will win.” /> I hope other elected representatives will follow the example of those who are now stepping forth to plant the flag of freedom and independence right on the White House lawn.

Wow Rand Paul to Savannah whatever.
......we bring in 250 billion in tax revenues every month and our interest payment is 20 billion there is no reason we should ever default.

Wow Rand Paul!! just too good.

If this comment gets out all the regimes arguments go away and quickly!!

That and pointing out that funds were proposed to keep the government running , and the real issue is one of fairness namely:

The same type of exemption for individuals as companies

The same requirement for Congress as the American people.

Finalize by stating both of these were never in the “ settled law”

&&&&

I just listened to the very painful interview of Chris Wallace and Jack Lew. Lew actually had the chutzpah to say that America’s economy has been what the world has counted on for strength and stability since 1789.

What is that man smoking?????
