The DC groupthink of letting Repubs destroying themselves is a false belief. The Repubs are finally standing for their voters and getting stronger

bray, let it be noted that you are a LOT more optimistic about the Repubs than I am.

Will is on the FNS panel this morning.

He was better on there than I expected. Threw in some ol’ time movement-type stuff sounding a bit like Buckley (not that anyone actually could, mind you).

If you think Sequester and no CR was bad, wait til you experience default. It will actually be the end of the world as we know it. It will make the Great Depression look like a picnic, or not.

The markets were back up on Friday after the Rodeo Clown tried to scare them. The markets would react positively to anything that looks like fiscal responsibility.

Pray America is Waking Up

......we bring in 250 billion in tax revenues every month and our interest payment is 20 billion there is no reason we should ever default.

Wow Rand Paul!! just too good.

This is correct. This concept of “default” is just as political as the rest of it. Semantics. And, like I said elsewhere, when you are already $16 trillion in the hole what is “default” and why would it matter?

I have been checking our fed budget for fiscal year 2014 and it suggests that we will spend 4 trillion dollars yet only 600 billion will be borrowed. That means that we are now getting 85% of the revenue we need even with the govt. shut down!

This argument is over the other 15%!! If an average family had 15% of their income shut down they could still survive only tighten their belts a little not a lot 15% worth. The rats entire argument is pure bs.

Jack Lew said something like “by October the whatever we will not be able to borrow any more money” and only in the insular atmosphere of Washington and the Sunday talk shows would they not be able to hear the “Hallelujah!” that rang out across the land.

Good stuff Bob.

You are absolutely correct.

Even when Bubba knew the govt. was due to shut down he planned for it and within a few days they actually negotiated with each other and the shutdown didn't last. There were no interruptions and few even realized that govt. was shut down.

Zero is doing all this crap on purpose. He wants to cause as much pain as possible. Just like he told all the park service people make it hurt, he's a true commie and hates America.

A completely free (open) market would, yes, but a significant percentage of Wall St. trades entirely on government largesse and then there is the matter of the QE....

I don’t trust the market to stay the course.

Most likely!

I think a lot of LIV women think politics is like raising kids—make them share, say sorry all ‘round, and talk it over. Winston Churchill once said, “Jaw-jaw is better than war-war.”

Still, I’d like to see some deployment of brass ones from the GOP at least once in awhile!

Above all, Republicans shouldn’t put up with the bias tricks of the Dem-Media but call them on it at the start of the interview, during the interview, and when finishing the interview. They should analyze each question, point out the bias, and then answer it the way it should have been asked. Cruz is a master of doing it this way.

I also think they should ALWAYS bring up, this week and as long as the shutdown goes on, Obama’s official statement that he WILL NOT negotiate. LIV women don’t like that. Hence Boehner’s talk of conversations.

Off topic of the Sunday shows, but a thought on the ‘news’ that both networks have cancelled their plans to make Hillary biopics.

Hillary must be very afraid of what might become known if film researchers start interviewing people connected to Hillary throughout her life. She has as much history to want buried as Obama had. She just has a whole generation more of contacts who might reveal her dark underside.

Then those companies deserve to suffer a few days. It is time to end this crony capitalism and build a real market.

I'm really hoping that Cruz will have appeal on so may fronts he will be tough to beat.

He should take some Hispanic votes for our side. If the squishy middle has any brains at all why would they pick hillary over Ted? He already has a huge base with us and the other conservatives so I really don't see to much of a down side.

He is not likely to get many LIV votes anyway. It's still early to try and figure all this out.

Cruz is brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I think the Democrats and media are flustered becasue this guy is so eloquent and Reaganesque. They are used to dealing with little weasels like McCain and Graham who care more about their own egos than the country. They are truly scared of Cruz.
