I'm not in charge of that, although several conservatives did run, they lost the primaries. I voted for one of them.

Although it may never happen again, you need to get some basic information on how an election works. Look for terms like, two candidate race, majority, electoral votes, spoiler, throwing away your vote, democrat voter fraud, low information "conservatives".
