Establish a relationship, get a piece of land, arrange to use a piece of land, (might even want to think of this 'piece' across the border.) well before you NEED it - because, in actuality, you NEED IT NOW.

A good point. Also, remember that the exits from the interstates will likely be blocked, not by the Feds, but by locals who don't want you coming off and buying up the available supplies of gas and food. Be sure to get a couple of jerry cans and keep them filled with gas. Rotate your gas supply. Every few times you need gas, use what's in your jerry cans, then refill them at the gas station. That way you'll always have fresh gas on hand.

And see my tag line. There's a lot of information in my book that you might find useful when the time comes.

I recommend you buy TWO copies of Joe’s book. The first copy will be ‘ruined’ by you with dog-ears, underlines and highlights.

That book plus A Failure of Civility. Take that one out of its glued paper binding, three-ring punch it and make it your SOP for neighborhood defense.

The two books together are invaluable advice from folks who have been there, done that.

Don’t let the price scare you away. Worth it.

WRT blocking interstate exits - that is EXACTLY what ‘happened’ in One Second After. It just makes sense.

Ya HAFTA be able to get where you are going, and already be welcome there.
