Correct marktwain. Why anyone would call 911 in this situation is beyond me. The problem was taken care of, now you are recorded so the the relatives of the intruder can sue you and the cops investigate to bolster families case.
Don’t call anyone. Bury the intruder and forget it. Save your self a lot of legal fees

In this vein, recently heard that there is no obligation to report a justifiable shooting....still researching.
