“have chosen to defy Washington’s traditional norms of conversation and compromise.”
LOL, and how many laws has Klownie the Kenyan signed without “conversing” Congress?
Maybe now Americans will that the government is not needed as gov shut down and nothing has happened.Obama is pure evil and a communist.
I’m glad Republicans shut down government. government is useless and only oppresses as in the IRS
call them and tell Republicans to hold the line and not cave in to media pressure
One is a former Texas talk-radio host who had never held public office until he won a seat in Congress in the 2010 tea party wave.
Another is an MIT-educated inventor who has all but shelved his scientific pursuits to reinvent government.
And both immeasurably more qualified than obamarangadingdong at any time in his political career including his residency. Funny how experience is only an issue when it suits the liberal diatribe.
The Debt Ceiling — it’s the law of the land. Let’s not even discuss changing it. How’s that?
Lost Angeles Times. Nuff sed.
An article written from the standpoint that everyone wants the norms of DC, that everyone thinks like the inside the Beltway types. Jeesh.
And why is experience an issue? President Obama was elected with only two years of legislative experience. I dont remember the self-anointed complaining about his lack of political experience. And let us not forget that the entrenched experts are the ones that got us into this mess in the first place.
Always remember, the Arc was built by amateurs, and the Titanic was built by experts.
What is funny is how many people ever were fooled into thinking it was sincere.
When have the Democrats been interested in conversation and compromise???
Another article where the libs in the media explain the conservative movement......
Call the people involved in this and give them your total support. They must be receiving a lot of adverse calls from the leftists.
Whenever a MSM organ goes into such complete meltdown mode, it’s a good day.
Well, in the "mind" of the left, that scenario has the left doing all the conversating (choosing the narrative and issuing demands) and the right doing all the "compromising". Their definition of "compromise" is false and evil; real compromise has both parties getting some things that they want but didn't have before, but usually not everything they want.
Leftards have for decades perverted the word to mean that pro-freedom people give up something they already have, while the left "settles" for getting less NEW tyranny than some totalitarian shopping list they came up with, but the change from status quo ante was always in their direction; that was presumed to be the direction all change must take.
It's easy to see how the people with the correct values are going to get screwed here; it's actually surprising that it took Republicans this long to stop playing along. Why should they do all the compromising and get nothing in return?
It truly pisses off the communists in the enemedia when republicans exercise their Constitutional powers and obligations. I wish for hell to deposit all rats into the accounts of satan.
Emboldened Republicans, as opposed to normally docile Republicans.
Yeah...the GOP definitely rejected compromise when they passed a huge new health entitlement with no vote in favor on the other side.
Oh, wait...wrong party.
