A couple points about the health care "law":
1. It was never passed by the Senate in its current form. The law is an amalgam of the senate bill and the house bill stuck together w/o any reconciliation.
2. Not one republican voted for the law.
3. obama has suspended multiple articles of this law w/o approval from congress.
4. During the run up to passage obama repeatedly stated that the mandate was not a tax, and yet the USSC allowed the law to go through because Roberts, and he alone, called it a tax and therefore, unbeleivably a tax.
What is Ryan trying to do? Declare surrender on the cusp of victory?
It appears to me he's trying to suck up to the enemy because he thinks we're going to lose. He's just proving he never intended to win this. The so-called "shutdown" is doing an excellent job of smoking out the Vichy Republicans.
